TANGO
I have been dancing and teaching Argentine Tango for nearly a decade. Together with my colleague and friends we started a social group, called Tango Evolution. Our goal is to promote the art of Argentine Tango through weekly classes and workshops, milongas (Argentine Tango parties) and performances.
If you would like to learn more about Argentine Tango, please visit our site or contact me at Lena@TangoEvolution.com
Art on Silk
Batik is an ancient art of cloth decoration done with wax-resist dyeing techniques on textile (usually on silk). Painting on silk has become a very special hobby of mine, since it presents practically unlimited possibilities and ways of expression through different techniques, paints/dyes, and types of silk, allowing me to create not only decorative art but also one-in-a-kind wearable pieces. (And I believe any woman deserves to have truly one-in-a-kind accessory that would make her look unique, highlighting her character and personality.)
Many of my wearable pieces are done "per order". Please preview my online collection and contact me if you would like to order an existing piece. Colors and designs can be modified per your request. |
